The Local Court of Erfurt has appointed DiLigens partner Marcello Di Stefano as provisional insolvency administrator of Marblelution Genetics GmbH and his partner Dr. Martin Linsenbarth as provisional insolvency administrator of Marblelution Beef GmbH. Marblelution is the largest European breeder of this noble breed of cattle, with around 1,000 of its own Wagyu breeding animals and a further 5,000 animals in association with its breeding partners.
The business operations of both companies will continue for the time being, and the wages and salaries of the 46 employees are secured by the insolvency substitute benefits.
The two provisional insolvency administrators are currently gaining a precise picture of the situation and investigating the options for restructuring this company with an innovative business model. Both are being supported by a team led by lawyer Robert Jödicke.
