The retail company The KaDeWe Group GmbH has filed an application with the Charlottenburg district court to open insolvency proceedings in self-administration. With around 1,600 employees, the KaDeWe Group operates two other luxury department stores, Oberpollinger in Munich and Alsterhaus in Hamburg, in addition to the well-known Berlin department store KaDeWe; its annual turnover is around 728 million euros.

DiLigens counsel Robert Jödicke and now also founding partner Dr. Martin Linsenbarth, both proven specialists for reorganizations and restructurings in insolvency proceedings, are part of the advisory team of Stephan Strumpf from the law firm Finkenhof, the KaDeWe Group's general representative for self-administration.
