The Mühlhausen Local Court has ordered provisional self-administration proceedings over the assets of Fleischerei Holzapfel Thüringer Fleisch- und Wurstwaren GmbH. DiLigens partner Marcello Di Stefano, a specialist lawyer for insolvency and reorganization law, has been appointed provisional administrator. Restructuring advisors are the experts from Uppenbrink & Collegen from Hagen/Westphalia.
In addition to its production site in Oldisleben, the traditional Holzapfel butchery maintains nine branches in the region and currently employs 85 people. The business will be continued without restrictions. The aim is to reorganize the company by means of an insolvency plan.
