By order of the Meiningen Local Court dated December 3, 2024, provisional insolvency administration was ordered for the assets of MegaPlast GmbH from Steinbach-Hallenberg. Lawyer Dr. Martin Linsenbarth, partner at DiLigens Rechtsanwälte & Insolvenzverwalter, was appointed provisional insolvency administrator.

"My primary goal is to stabilize the ongoing business of MegaPlast GmbH and carry out a comprehensive review of the company's financial situation. Together with the management and employees, we are working to develop a viable solution that can secure the company's continued existence," said Dr. Linsenbarth.
